Gears POP! Update 1.2 Introduces Balance Adjustments

Gears POP! has released update Version 1.2, which adds content in celebration of the launching of Gears 5. In addition to the new Vasgar Arena, the update also introduces pins and a limited-time event.

Gears POP! is Gears of War combined with Funko Pop! figures. In the game, players get to collect and upgrade different iconic Gears of War heroes and villains. Players then need to create the ultimate team that is going to lead them to victory in the Arena. This is where players from around the world battle in fast-paced tactical cover-combat.

The Arena has two options. The first is Versus, where players experience 1v1 combat. The second is Horde where players team up with one other crew member and fight against an increasingly difficult horde of enemies.

In addition to Arena, Gears POP! also offers two modes. Training is where players train with General RAAM himself in order to learn all of the basic moves and skills. Meanwhile, Bootcamp has players complete tactical challenges to practice their moves while also earning some credits to use for those much-needed upgrades.

Talking about the update, the team at Gears POP! revealed that they have already identified the cause of the Xbox Live Login issue and are working on a solution.

    • Summoning switched to periodically rather than upon entering combat

    • Damage increased 320%, also updated to deal damage over time with a duration of seconds and damage interval of 1 second
