Friday the 13th: The Game is coming to the Nintendo Switch console this spring. Titled, Friday the 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Switch Edition, this version comes packed with all DLCs and content releases so far. This includes all the Jason Kill Packs, the Emote Party Pack, and the Counselor Clothing Packs. It should be noted the game does NOT include certain exclusives, such as the Savini Jason character DLC and the clothing pack exclusive to players who backed the game on Kickstarter.

Developer Gun Media partnered with Black Tower and Nighthawk to bring the popular multiplayer title to the Switch.

In other Friday the 13th news, due to legal issues instigated by Victor Miller, the original screenwriter for the Friday the 13th movie, Gun Media announced last year that it would no longer be adding content to Friday the 13th. Miller intends to reclaim his rights to the original characters of the movie franchise, including the main antagonist and central character Jason Voorhees and his iconic hockey mask. Despite the lack of content releases, Gun Media has been religious in its endeavors to support the game. Friday the 13th: The Game still sees regular bug fixes and performance improvements, and its dedicated servers are in no danger of shutting down. The legal issues also haven’t stopped Friday the 13th: The Game from expanding to the Switch.

Friday the 13th: The Game was launched in 2017, and is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
