Summer is here and it's time to have fun in the sun. Beat the heat as the latest new update for The King of Fighters ALLSTAR adds two new swimsuit fighters, both EX grade.
The first is AS Glimmering Ocean Kasumi (Blue element/Balance-type) who is all about team-up attacks. Her unique skill allows her to increase the critical hit rate and damage of her teammates when conditions are met during battle. She can also increase the attack of other teammates when tagging out.
Meanwhile, AS Glimmering Ocean Jenet (Green element/Attack-type) is a fighter who can synergize perfectly with green element teams. Her leader skill allows her to increase the ATK of green element fighters. When conditions are met during battle, her unique skills put her in a Festival state which increases the damage, critical hit rate, and critical hit damage of certain skills.
Battle Cards
New battle cards supporting both Kasumi and Jenet have been added to the game. When equipped with Glimmering Ocean Kasumi, this battle card increases critical damage of all teammates, as well as lowers the defense of all enemies when the skill ends.
Meanwhile, when equipped to Glimmering Ocean Jenet, the fighter gets critical damage buff when her skill ends.
In-Game Events
There are also these new in-game events:
- Rush Dungeon: Summer Treasure Hunt
- Learn more about why Jenet and Kasumi are hitting the beach.
- Players can clear rush dungeons, which feature stories of Kasumi and Jenet, collect coins, and exchange various items at the Exchange Shop.
- Challenge Dungeon: Summer Festival - The Great Match
- Players can earn various rewards when clearing stages in this event with Kasumi and Jenet.
The King of Fighters ALLSTAR offers fast-paced fighting action where players fight against waves of enemies, giant bosses, and even rival fighter teams. Making the game even more exciting is the combination of cutting-edge graphics, bold colors, and lightning-fast animations. It has more than 130 fighters in its roster, not limited to fighters from the KOF franchise but also includes those from various collaborations like Seven Knights, Virtua Fighter, and Samurai Shodown.
