After years of development, Eastward is finally out on PC and Nintendo Switch. The game was in development by Pixpil, which started working on the game in 2015.

The game is set in the world of Eastward where society is on the brink of collapse and the population is at an all-time low. Making matters worse is a toxic presence that has spread across the land, destroying everything in its path.

To escape the danger, humans built underground villages in hopes of starting a new life. This is where the story of John and Sam begins as they escape from Potcrock Isle's subterranean society.

Features of the game include:

  • Travel the World
    • Travel onboard a cross-country railway and discover more about the weird and wonderful world of Eastward.
    • Explore busy towns, curious campsites, and even shady forests.
  • Fight or Fry
    • Defeat monsters and bosses by using weapons like Flamethrower, Cog-shooter, and Frying pan
    • For those feeling merciful, use kinetic blast to stun them instead.
