There is a new revolutionary product from Razer called "Clio" that is a head cushion that offers wireless speakers and comfort for users.

Razer is touting a significant audio experience with the Clio as it offers surround sound speakers and top-tier quality without sacrificing comfort for players during long hours of gaming.

It is also being touted to be a device that can replace gamers' headphones. However, it does not feature a built-in microphone.

Razer Clio Brings Speakers to Head Cushions

A new immersive experience is unveiled by Razer, and it is called the Clio, which is a detachable head cushion for a gaming chair's headrest but also includes speakers for audio. Instead of giving users wireless headphones again to complement their gaming experiences, Razer is now freeing gamers' ears and heads from the device that wraps over them.

Since Clio is a head cushion, users would no longer need to have an audio wearable resting on their heads. Moreover, Razer also touts that the Clio is powered by THX Spatial Audio technology that offers a surround sound experience for gaming and more.

Moreover, Razer also gave it integrated near-field dual speakers to ensure that users hear everything from their gaming or streaming experiences. Apart from this, the company also boasts of its cushions for comfort, which was designed so as not to sacrifice ergonomics.

Clio Can Replace Your Headphones for $230

Razer's Clio is a dual-purpose gaming accessory. Not only does it add cushioning support to the headrest, but it also offers surround sound speakers that can potentially replace your headphones. However, it is important to note that the Clio does not have a built-in microphone so users would have to purchase a separate device for that.

The Clio boasts of featuring an internal battery with a 5400 mAH capacity, and a single full charge of the device could last users 14 hours of use before it needs to get topped off again. Users may charge the Clio via a USB-C cable, and it would take an approximately six hours to fully replenish its power cells.

That being said, Razer will not include a USB-C cable with the purchase of a Clio.

Gamers may connect the Razer Clio via Bluetooth to their PCs or consoles, or via the 2.4GHz HyperSpeed dongle, and it is also compatible with the Razer Synapse software for more controls.

Razer promises an immersive audio experience with the Clio despite it not resting over one's ears, and it offers support for multiple audio setups, which means users may use it alongside their wireless headphones. That said, the Clio may also replace the traditional gaming headphones at a whopping price of $229.99.
