A new leak is teasing another upcoming crossover to "Fortnite" and this time, it is with the "Man of Steel" himself, Superman. The crossover will reportedly feature a new skin and mythic ability.
The battle royale may be gearing up for the arrival of the last son of Krypton as part of the upcoming "Superman" film from the DC extended universe (DCEU) under James Gunn.
There are still no official confirmations on Superman's new skin coming to "Fortnite," but leakers are pointing out that this latest rumor will coincide with the upcoming film's release, something that Epic Games has done before.
'Fortnite' Leak: New Superman Skin, Mythic Ability
A new post from reliable leaker and insider, ShiinaBR, revealed the next superhero collaboration of the battle royale game as Superman is reportedly making his return to "Fortnite."
ShiinaBR has claimed that this will be centering on the new DCU Superman, which is set to bring a live-action adaptation of the hero under a new direction from Warner Bros. It was also revealed that Superman's new skin is not exactly a skin that players can purchase and equip right off the bat as it will be in the form of a Mythic ability that will transform players into the Man of Steel.
The latest leak is also corroborated by another renowned "Fortnite" leaker named FNBRintel. It is known that the last appearance of Superman on "Fortnite" was when Epic Games released Chapter 2 Season 7 back in June 2021, with Clark Kent featured as the secret skin of the Battle Pass.
That being said, it remains unknown if the new Superman skin would get the same treatment from "Fortnite" in this upcoming release, including if the hero would also be obtainable only via the Battle Pass.

According to the leakers, the upcoming "Fortnite" x Superman crossover will be based on the upcoming film portraying the latest version of the Justice League's leader, which is James Gunn version of the character. The renowned director is known for beginning his revamp of the DCEU franchise, beginning with 2021's "The Suicide Squad."
This new "Superman" film still captures the iconic blue, red, and yellow colors of the last son of Krypton, but employs a new lead to take on the mantle with David Corenswet. Henry Cavill was the last to portray the superhero prior to Corenswet.
It was revealed that this new skin would reportedly be based on the upcoming movie from Gunn and the DCU under Warner Bros. That being said, should the leak be accurate, it is expected that this "Fortnite x Superman" crossover would be available alongside the film's theatrical release this July.
