Bandai Namco’s new trailer for Dragon Ball Fusions shows some story elements, three new fusions and several of the game modes coming to the Nintendo 3DS later this year.

There’s a lot of information inside the new Dragon Ball Fusions trailer, so check it out below.

The new trailer starts with the story of our two main protagonists, who will take us on a journey through time and space to different parts of Dragon Ball history.

Dragon Ball Fusions is an RPG where players can travel and talk to different characters, and, of course, fight heroes and villains from the Dragon Ball timeline. In an added twist, players can fuse two characters together using a special Capsule Corps device.

The game claims there are “infinite possibilities” of fusions within the game and the new trailer shows us three new fusions. Young Gohan and Krillin, Young Goku and Gohan, Young Gohan and Trunks are all examples of the new fusions created in the game.

These new fusions are called "EX Fusions" and some of the already revealed new fusions include Karoly (Kakarot (Goku) x Broly; spelled the same way as "calorie" in Japanese), Gorillin (young Goku x Krillin), Krigohan (Gohan x Krillin; a pun on the word chestnut rice) and Prillin (Piccolo x Krillin).

Dragon Ball Fusions will release Aug. 8 in Japan. A North American release date has not been announced.
