Format

The format of the Arlington Major is your standard Dota 2 tournament. At the Group Stage, the 18 teams are divided into two groups of nine. They're going to play in a single-round robin and all matches are Bo2.

At the end of the Group Stage, the top four teams of each group advance to the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs. Meanwhile, teams in fifth and sixth places in each group proceed to the Lower Bracket, and the remaining teams are eliminated.

The Playoffs will be a double-elimination bracket with all matches in Bo3, except for the Grand Final in Bo5.
