So far... so good.
So far... so good. Epicenter

If you’re one of those doubting the new Virtus.pro Dota 2 roster, then the team’s performance so far at the Dota 2 Epic League Division 1 should start to change your mind. VP has been undefeated in four matches, and in its last match, it was Egor "epileptick1d" Grigorenko that had a really strong performance. Even better, it was against Team Nigma, a team whose roster includes TI champions.

Proving Itself

In its first match, VP went against OG. To say that it was one-sided would be an understatement. In the first game, epileptick1d finished strong with eight kills and zero deaths. In the second game it was pretty much the same, and this time epileptick1d ended the game with 11 kills. He was helped by Danil "gpk" Skutin who had 12 kills of his own.

After that VP beat out Just Error at 2–1 and then swept mudgolems at 2–0.

VP's latest match was against former TI champion Nigma. There was some expectation for Nigma, considering that Team Captain Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi was now back in action. Like the match with OG, the new VP roster again showed that it had promise. VP’s Vitalie "Save-" Melnic, despite playing position 4, managed to get 12 kills. However, once again it was all epileptick1d who contributed with 11 kills and zero deaths. Think about that. In that game, Nigma had a total of 12 team kills.

In the second, it was pretty much the same, or if you were Nigma, worse. The score was pretty similar, but this time around Nigma had a total 11 team kills. Guess how many kills epileptick1d had? He ended the game with 14 kills and zero deaths all by himself.

Division 1 Roundup

While VP is indeed having a strong performance, there are also other top tier teams that are doing well. Team Secret, for example, is in the top four. Here’s the standings so far:
