Dota 2: Enjoy the Arlington Major with DPC Fantasy and Supporters Club

Time to prepare.
Time to prepare. Valve

The Arlington Major starts today, and 17 Dota 2 teams are fighting for the right to be crowned the champion. For the fans, the tournament isn’t just about watching these teams do battles; some things can be done behind the scenes.

Make the Perfect Team

The first is the DPC Fantasy which fans can now access during the Arlington Major. If you’re new to Dota 2, it works like any other fantasy sport. All that needs to be done is to collect cards from the participating teams in the Arlington Major. After that, look at the schedules and matches to come up with the perfect line-ups for each day of the tournament. Those able to score enough points have the chance to get Summer Lineage Treasures.

Support Your Favorite Team

Fans can also show love to their favorite team with the Supporters Club. For the Arlington Major, all Supporters Club bundles are offered at 50% off, and half of the proceeds go directly to the teams.

Reserve Your Spot

While the different Dota 2 teams need to fight for a spot in The International 2022, all fans need to do is show up. Of course, it’s not free, but the good news is that Valve announced tickets available for sale starting August 13.

All tickets will be sold in a single wave with a limit of five tickets per customer for each date. Fans living in Singapore may choose will-call pickup or courier delivery for their tickets. Meanwhile, others need to pick up their tickets at will-call only.

The event is divided into two separate sections. The first is the Playoffs from October 20 to October 23, featuring the top 16 teams fighting to be in the Finals. This will be held at the Suntec convention center in Singapore for four days, with tickets for each day priced at about $64.

The culmination is the Finals which see the four remaining teams fight for the Aegis of Champions. The Finals are scheduled from October 29 to October 30 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Tickets are priced at around $362, with each ticket allowing entrance for both days.

Dota 2 is available on PC.
