The Crew 2 revealed a new set of Live Summits that are planned to begin next week. This is a Player vs. Environment (PvE) gaming mode that was first introduced during the Hot Shots update. The new set starts July 24 and ends August 20.
What are Live Summits?
In Live Summit, players get the chance to win prizes based on their positions on the leaderboard. Each leaderboard is separate for each gaming platform. Those who finish in the top 3,000 players gets the platinum tiered prize.
Rewards generally include getting a certain number of followers along with single or multiple parts. Should a player already have the vehicle that is features in a summit, the player gets a full refund of the purchase in bucks.
Live Summits feature three different skill events as well as five racing events of different types to complete. What is unique to Live Summit are in the racing events, players are typically required to race in a different vehicle that what is expected for a discipline.

However, even with the reveal, the ongoing Live Summit remains to be active and ends July 23.
The ongoing Live Summit is titled Past vs. Present and started last July 17. In this event, players get the chance to compete and see which leads them to victory: Vintage or Modern. At stake for this Live Summit is:
- Platinum - Outer Orange Tire
- Gold - 365 GTB/4 Competizione (Daytona)
- Silver - Bugatti Chiron (Hypercar)
- Bronze - 300,000 Followers
