Heavy Metal Heroes

Exciting as this new content may be, it's not all that's coming to Black Ops 4. There is also the new Blackout limited time mode called Heavy Metal Heroes. So what does it add? For one, it offers a new cel shading visual effect. That's not all. In this LTM, players can double jump. They can even use Flare Guns which can call in tanks. If players are lucky enough, they can find Hellion Salvo Operators which can take out armored fleets.

Tag der Toten

The update that brings Operation Dark Divide to all also does the same for Tag der Toten. This serves as the final chapter of the Aether storyline and stars the Ultimis, Primis, and Victis crews. While the Ultimis and Primis versions of Dempsey, Takeo, Richtofen, and Nikolai sit around a campfire one last time, the Victis crew awakens from their cryostasis under Alcatraz only to be transported to a long forgotten Siberian Group 935 facility. The three teams need to work together, along with a mysterious hermit, in order to build the Agarthan Device and let Nikolai achieve his master plan.

Tag der Toten offers a wide range of gameplay features like freezing water, underwater areas, platforming, and even extreme verticality. Players can even use snowballs as weapons. This being the final chapter, players can expect to use a variety of Wonder Weapons. For example, there is the Wunderwaffe DG Scharfschütze shock rifle and the new Tundra Gun, excellent for those who can't take the heat. They can even use explosive Matryoshka Dolls.

Players will also be glad to know that with the new update, stability improvements have been made for Tag der Toten. One major issue fixed was that a crash occurred when players become unfrozen while standing standing, or even swimming, in freezing water for too long. Another issue fixed was a crash that resulted in stunning groups of zombies with a headshot with the Wunderwaffe DG Scharfschütze.
