Borderlands 3 released its latest update which is sure to make players happy. For one, a highly requested feature is finally here as players can now disable events in the main menu.

The patch now also let players skip all cutscenes in the game. Whether you’ve watched them before or not, during solo play or as host of your very own multiplayer game. It’s as easy as simply pressing any key.

That’s not all as there are a lot of new things that arrived with the patch. The patch increased the level cap to 53. This means that players have three more skill points going for them. The Borderlands 3 team revealed that they are looking into the impact of this change as it will be included in future discussions in relation to increases in level cap.

The game is also introducing True Takedown Mode to the Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite. Players can now re-enable the original version of the Takedown scaled to four players. Takedowns to be introduced in the future are going to have both modes enabled.

Another change that arrived with the new patch are the Guardian Ranks. It’s now possible to turn off not only the individual Guardian Rank, but even the whole system. Thus, if there’s a perk that’s not working, players can now disable them. However, players are not going to be able to gain ranks if the system is turned off.

The release of the patch also means the launching of the Broken Hearts Day Event. This in-game event started last February 13 and ends on February 20. For those who want to play a more straightforward game, as mentioned, this can be disabled though the main menu. This feature is also going to be include in future seasons.

Meanwhile, Stadia players can heave a sigh of relief as Borderlands 3 on Google's cloud platform finally catches up to the other versions. Stadia players can now fight through Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite and even access Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot. They can also take advantage of the QOL improvements in the previous patches.
