Apex Legends' latest “Stories of the Outlander” trailer is here and it finally revealed our newest legend. The trailer titled “Northstar” introduced us to Valkyrie. She is the daughter of Viper, one of the baddies from Titanfall 2.

Northstar Trailer

The eight-minute-long video revealed that the curious Valkyrie in her childhood piloted a Northstar Titan and found herself in the middle of a battle, only to get shot down by the enemies. As she was falling from the sky, she was rescued by her father.

As we know from Titanfall 2, Viper was killed by Jack Cooper. However, the trailer indicated that Valkyrie blames Kuben Blisk for the death of her father. She proceeds to shoot his drink and bulldozes her way to Apex games.

Release Date and Abilities

The trailer also mentioned that the new season, Legacy, will go live on May 4. Her abilities have not been officially revealed yet, but some rumors suggest that she will have some jet pack of sorts. We do know that her ability utilizes a machine made from her destroyed Northstar Titan. We will have to wait for the official gameplay trailer for more information, which should release in a couple of days.

We also saw Rampart working on a Titan at the end of the video. What was that about? We don’t know yet.

New Weapon, Battle Pass, and Ranked Season

The updated official website revealed that Season 9 Legacy will bring a new weapon called Bocek Bow. The weapon deals high damage and is ideal for medium-range combat.

As you would expect, the new season will bring a brand-new Battle Pass and a Ranked Season. The Battle Pass will give you access to cool rewards like weapon skins, banners, legend skins, and more. Complete daily and weekly challenges to progress through the pass faster.
