If you're looking for a game that has high replayability, you can't go wrong with "Dave the Diver." To simply put, the game is all about catching fish and turning them to sushi that you have to serve to customers at night.

But that, again, is putting it simply. In reality, "Dave the Diver" has a lot going on that it may be pretty easy to overlook some seemingly minor things that are actually important.

Here are five tips so that you can have a more efficient "Dave the Diver" experience. Be warned that there may be spoilers ahead if you've yet to play the game or if you've yet to finish it.

Tip 1: Make Your Waiting Room Useful

Hiring plays a big role in how efficiently you run both Bancho Sushi and its subsequent branch. If you've played the game, you should know by now that it's important to match the skill of your hires with the position you put them in.

However, it's easy to overlook the waiting room, where all your unassigned hires are kept, well, waiting. Instead of keeping staff there doing nothing, use your waiting room staff to acquire ingredients you don't have or have very little of.

Tip 2: Maximize the Underwater Scooter

The underwater scooter is one of the consumables in the game, and it's easy to dismiss it as kind of useless especially if you're not the type to rush your fishing.

However, if you have the chance to take it, grab it. The underwater scooter is particularly valuable when evading fast predators like sharks. It also becomes useful when you're running out of oxygen, and you need to get to the surface fast.

The use of the underwater scooter is not unlimited, so use it wisely.

Tip 3: Hire Sammy

At some point in the game, Sammy (Otto's son and one of the VIP guests you'll encounter) will express that he needs more funds to further his career. Because of it, he'll offer to help you tend to your farm for a price.

Unless tending to the garden is something you consider a must for you to do on your own, make things easier for you by hiring Sammy. Sammy will handle maintaining and harvesting your crops for you, and all you have to do is show up and collect once the harvest is available.

Tip 4: Don't Ignore Jango's Visits

Jango is a merchant who will prove to be very useful to you after you feed him some Hot Pepper Tuna. In fact, he'll appear at Bancho Sushi every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday afternoon with a lot of goodies you can buy from him.

There's undoubtedly a lot going on when you play "Dave the Diver," and it's easy to forget Jango's visiting schedule. However, it's recommended that you maximize his visits as he comes armed with premium ingredients like truffles and even special recipes you can add to your collection.

Tip 5: Get Your Hands on All the Guns

While it's easy to have a favorite gun to use, it's going to be beneficial in the long run to have all of them. Why? There are times that when you need a specific gun to complete a mission.

An example of which is the regular FishMon task from Udo. One of the which you need to catch is the Wizard Barrel Jellyfish, which teleports. Without the red sniper rifle, you won't be able to catch it, and even Udo will tell you as much.
