Apex Legends Season 9 Brings Peacekeeper to the Ground; New Weapon Category Added

Peacekeeper EA

Apex Legends Season 9 brings back the fan-favorite weapon to the ground. The OG Peacekeeper is only available via the Random Supply Drop, however, in Season 9, the said weapon can be grabbed from the ground like other weapons. Triple Take, meanwhile, is now a Crate Weapon. Stats of both guns have been changed to accommodate the modifications.

The update also introduced a new weapon category called Marksman. Previously, 30-30 Repeater and G7-Scout were present under Assault Rifle, and Triple Take was under Sniper Rifles. But after the introduction of Bocek Bow, the developer thought that a new weapon category was needed. Now, all four of these will be under the new category. Moreover, movement speeds while aiming-down sights (ADS) for these weapons are now faster than that of sniper rifles but slower than assault rifles.
