If you are an Amazon Prime subscriber in the League of Legends scene, then you are in for a treat. That is because you can acquire at least four months of free in-game loot. This deal has been made possible through the partnership between Twitch and Riot Games, the game’s developer
What you want to do is head over to twitch.amazon.com and just claim the “Rift’s Herald Capsule.” When opened, the capsule gives you one random Legendary Skin Shard, a pair of random Skin Shards, and an exclusive emote.
The fun does not stop there, though. Second on the list is the Red Buff’s Capsule, which is then followed by the Blue Buff’s Capsule just 30 days after that. Lastly, you can get the Baron’s Capsule. All in all, these freebies will give you a total of three Legendary Shards, four exclusive emotes, and seven Skin Shards. Not bad, right?
Twitch Prime director Larry Plotnick talked about the new setup they have for Amazon Prime subscribers who play League of Legends. "League of Legends has been one of the most-watched games on Twitch for years, and partnering with Riot to offer four months’ worth of League of Legends loot to members is the kind of amazing content we get really excited about," he said in a press statement. "We’re striving to make Prime the absolute best deal in gaming, and we’re off to a big start in 2019—we’ve already offered our members more than $900 worth of games and content this year. And that’s just the beginning. Stay tuned, because there’s a lot more goodness coming this summer."
Once claimed, these League of Legends loot is yours forever. Of course, before you can claim and enjoy all of them, you have to be a member throughout the four-month stretch. If you want, you can use the 30-day Amazon Prime trial period to obtain the first capsule, and you can sign up for that here. Remember to remain signed up after that, though; otherwise, you will not be getting the three remaining capsules. The offer runs until April 28, 2019.
