'WWE 2K25' Launches on Switch 2, But You Can't Upload or View Custom Creations

Fans aren't happy upon learning that image uploading is non-existent in Switch 2.

"WWE 2K25's" release on the Nintendo Switch 2 could have been a big success for a console. However, wrestling fans are not happy with the way 2K handled the newest WWE title.

Apparently, there's a missing feature that every WWE gamer will love.

One of WWE 2K's most popular features, the image uploader and community creations suite, is entirely absent from the Switch 2 version of "WWE 2K25."

IGN reported that Nintendo's new console players can't upload images, nor can they see or download other players' creations. The limitation was subtly confirmed on 2K's official support page, which says that access to Image Uploader-based Community Creations does not exist.

This functionality exists on other platforms, including those that have less processing power than the Switch 2, so the exclusion is even more puzzling.

Why This Missing Core Feature Is a Big Deal

For WWE 2K enthusiasts, the image uploader is not merely a good bonus. It lets gamers create custom wrestlers, arenas, logos, and championship belts using real-life images or highly imaginative original work. Without it, the entire customization process feels woefully restricted.

This is particularly infuriating considering that one of the Switch 2's strongest arguments is enhanced third-party support and feature equivalence with other consoles. The lack of a major feature with little explanation is deeply troubling.

Potential Reasons: Technical or Content Moderation

2K has not provided an official explanation for the cut. According to The Gamer, some fans think that the removal has nothing to do with hardware constraints and is rather related to content moderation.

WWE creation tools have been abused in the past to post NSFW or offensive material before moderators could act on it. Restricting image uploads on the Switch 2 could be a preventive measure against those problems, especially on a platform that continues to have family-friendly branding.

But without explanation, this is conjecture and leaves gamers wondering why their version is lacking a flagship feature.

Solid Hardware, But Lousy Support Ruins 'WWE 2K25' on Switch 2

The Nintendo Switch 2 boasts the raw horsepower to scale complex contemporary games, but "WWE 2K25's" feature deficit demonstrates that third-party support still has some strides to make.

In a crippled state, Switch 2 players receive an incomplete game. It's even confusing why the most beloved feature is removed. It's up to 2K and Nintendo to turn things around.
