World War Z MAD DOG GAMES

World War Z just received a massive update that adds tons of new content to the game. The update, known as the Dronemaster update, brings a new playable class, a new weapon, crossplay support, balancing changes, and much more. It is now live on every platform and you should be able to download it now. Check out the announcement trailer of the update below.

As mentioned above, a new character class called Dronemaster has been added to the game. This class will have a special drone that you can use for more aggressive or defensive play. The drone will stun zombies if they don’t respect your personnel space, now this is Social Distancing done right. You can even upgrade the drone via a perk tree and it also comes with some cool prestige rewards.

This update added complete cross-play support for the game. This means that PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players can now play the game together. If you do not like this feature then you can turn it off via the Options settings. A new player report system has also been added to the game. You can learn more about it over here.

That’s not all, a new weapon called the ACW-20 was added to the game, and yes this weapon can also be upgraded. The ACW-20 is a low caliber semi-automatic grenade launcher, which means that clearing hoards of enemies just became slightly more easy (and fun).

Below are the highlights of the update. You can read the complete patch notes on the official site.

World War Z Review: Great Potential Tainted By Mediocre Online Service
Underneath the connectivity issues and game-breaking bugs is a solid third-person zombie shooter in the vein of the classic Left 4 Dead series.
  • -Solid and weighty gunplay with a huge variety of guns
  • -Amazing game and level design
  • -Good replayability
  • -A stand-out co-op game, whenever the online works
  • -Bad connectivity issues in a primarily multiplayer game
  • -Presence of some game-breaking bugs
  • -Relatively small content size (unless updated)
