Something exciting is coming to Train Sim World 3. Two bundles are arriving on February 21 that highlight American routes and locomotives. The first is the U.S. Passenger Bundle, offered at $59.99, and the second is the U.S. Freight Bundle, priced at $49.99. Pre-orders are now available on all platforms.

Passenger Content

The U.S. Passenger Bundle offers the iconic Amtrak’s Acela, which makes its debut in the game for the first time. This high-speed passenger train continues to ferry passengers through the Northeast Corridor of the US and has celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2020. Part of the Northeast Corridor is the New York - Trenton route which includes NJ TRANSIT’s 7,100 horsepower ALP-46 running alongside the Acela in this passenger-heavy route.

The Acela is also available to operate in several scenarios along the upgraded Northeast Corridor: Boston – Providence route. This route was first seen in the Train Sim World 2: Rush Hour and in this version, it comes with improved lighting and weather. American diesel-hauled passenger services also make an appearance courtesy of MBTA’s F40PC-3C locomotive and Cab Car, capable of a top-speed of 90 miles per hour.

Freight Content

The US Freight Bundle comes with the Union Pacific Heritage Pack which brings a colorful selection of SD70ACe locomotives. Players can also take on the six scenarios previously released in the Sherman Hill: Cheyenne – Laramie route but this one features new lighting and weather elements.

There's also the Cajon Pass: Barstow – San Bernardino route. It features the BNSF ES44C4 and SD40-2 locomotives hauling mile-long freight across California as they negotiate the 85-mile route.

Super Bundle

Players who want to catch up can get their hands on the U.S. Super Bundle for $94.99. This combines the passenger and freight bundles into one awesome package.

Pre-order for all three bundles is now available and even comes with a 10% discount on Steam. New players can also enjoy the New York Starter Pack, available on all platforms starting February 21. It features the new Northeast Corridor: New York – Trenton route and Training Center, a perfect first journey in the game.

Train Sim World 3 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
