Train Sim World 3 is finally out and invites players to take the next leap forward for the franchise. The game offers realism through new weather dynamics, longer routes, and a dedicated Training Center designed for both new and veteran players alike. It's also going to support add-ons from Train Sim World 2, and allow players to bring all the routes and engines they own into the latest iteration.

With the launch, players can now enjoy the challenge of operating through unexpected conditions. Indeed, the dynamic weather now has an impact not only on the handling of the locomotive but also on its responsiveness. In addition, the new Training Center can be considered the first stop for those who want to experience adverse weather but do it in a safe environment.

Core Routes

The game offers three core routes:

  • California’s Cajon Pass is known for its lengthy freight trains.
  • The high-speed 280 km/h Kassel-Würzburg route in Germany.
  • The extended version of England’s Southeastern Highspeed between London St. Pancras and Ashford International and the all-new Training Center.

The Deluxe Edition also bundles an improved version of the popular Spirit of Steam add-on from Train Sim World 2. This should allow new players to experience what it means to operate electric, diesel, and steam trains.

Personalized Experience

Players can personalize their experience through the Livery Editor and Scenario Planner. These allow custom paint jobs and self-made scenarios to be created and uploaded to the Creators Club.

The Creators Club is also where players can share their creations and download the work of others, both of which should fuel the creative passion of railfans to customize the look of their locomotive fleet. Meanwhile, those who don’t have the time to make works of art or do scenario planning can instead jump straight to the action through Quick-Play mode. This lets the game choose a route and scenario, which have not yet been completed, either more or less than 30 minutes long.

Train Fans

Train Sim World 3 is also a good place for those who love trains since it’s where they can enjoy it as a hobby. The scenery is visually stunning while the locomotives are detailed. These can be enjoyed through the eyes of the passenger or through the carefully considered camera angles and screenshots.
