TSM gets a much needed win. Team SoloMid

Team SoloMid emerged victorious at the Rainbow Six DreamHack Montreal 2019. The win served as a big boost to the team given their rather disappointing performance during the Season 10 Pro League. With this, the team gets a spot at the Six Invitational 2020 to be held in Montreal in February 2020.

Composed of Matthew "Achieved" Solomon, Bryan "Merc" Wrzek, Jason "Beaulo" Doty, Owen "Pojoman" Mitura, and Sam "Jarvis" Jarvis, the team was eliminated by G2 Esports during the Playoffs of the Six Major Raleigh 2019.

For this Minor Tournament, TSM needed to beat 15 other teams including FaZe Clan and Team Liquid. FaZe has been considered as one of the top teams of the Latin American division. While a lot of people expected Faze to move forward, it was TSM who managed to drop them during the Group Stage.

In the Quarterfinals, TSM played against Rogue. Rogue took the first game with the Kafe Dostoyevsky map. TSM, however, won the next two games. The second game was rather significant, with TSM getting an 8-6 win. The Seminfinals match saw TSM face off against BDS Esport. The first game was on the Clubhouse map and TSM dominated BDS, ending the game 7-2. In the second game, it the Kafe Dostoyevsky map was again used. TSM managed to get a much needed 8-7 win to prevent a game three.

This led to a Grand Finals match against Liquid. Prior to facing TSM, Liquid had managed to shut down Evil Geniuses in the Semifinals.

In the first game of the Grand Finals the battle took place on the Coastline map. The fight was a close one with TSM managing to get ahead of Liquid 8-7. The second game featured the Bank map and Liquid dominated, ending in a 7-2 win against TSM. It all boiled down to a game three.

This time the map was Consulate. TSM won the first four rounds before Liquid managed to get one win on the board. TSM secured one more win before the teams switched sides. In the new set, TSM got the first win before Liquid managed to get a win as well. TSM later earned one more win to close the game at 7-2 and win the championship.

Team SoloMid joins Team Empire as the first two teams confirmed for the Six Invitational 2020.
