What do you get when you combine basketball with hoverboards? You get a fast-paced and stylish game known as Swing Dunk. If that sounds exciting, you won’t have to wait long. The game arrives on Steam Early Access tomorrow.
The thing about Swing Dunk is that compared to the usual basketball games, this one is all about giving players the freedom of how to play it. Since actions are non-targeted, players need to manage the momentum of swinging the ball to shoot, pass, and of course, dunk.
Meanwhile, the hoverboard makes use of a dash system to go in different directions and even while in midair.
The game had its Playtest from August 18 to August 31. During this stage, one of the things tested was the demo version of the game’s battle pass system called Swing Pass. It’s like the Season Pass offered by other games.
