If you're ready to test your fighting skills, then start practicing as Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is set to arrive on February 14, 2020. Developer Capcom says that this version is going to be the most robust edition of Street Fighter V yet, and is going to be available for both the PC and PlayStation 4.

This version of the game is going to include almost all content from the original release as well as Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. We say almost because it doesn't include Fighting Chance costumes, brand collaboration costumes, and the Capcom Pro Tour DLC. It's still a treat though, as the Champion Edition is going to add each character, stage, and other pieces of content that have released after Arcade Edition. It's also going to include all launch content coming to this new version.

Overall, Street Fighter v: Champion Edition offers 40 characters, 34 stages and at least 200 costumes. Fighters can battle their way across a variety of single-player and multiplayer modes that have been designed for players of all skill levels. These include Arcade Mode, Story Mode, Team Battle, Ranked Match, and Casual Match among many others.

The Champion Edition also marks the return of Gill. Fans of the game will remember him as the leader of the Secret Society as well as the end boss of the Street Fighter III series. Gill is excellent at pyrokinesis and cryokinesis, which gives him control over fire and ice. Gill generally works behind the scenes, but this time is more than ready to reveal himself to the world as he works to fulfill the prophecy that the Secret Society has coveted since ancient times. Gill is going to be added to the Street Fighter V roster as part of Street Fighter: Champion Edition in February 2020. Players can also acquire him starting this December for $5.99.

Let's welcome Gill.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will be available as a digital download for both the PC and PlayStation 4 for $29.99. There's also going to be a physical edition available. Starting November 18, those who already have Street Fighter V can buy the upgrade kit for $24.99. The kit allows owners to get immediate access to any unowned Champion Edition content as it become available leading to the official launch.

For now, players only need the initial Street Fighter V version in order to make sure that they have the most up-to-date version of the title. Any other game mode additions and balance updates are going to be free for those have the version mentioned. In addition, all DLC characters continue to be earnable completely free of charge through completing various in-game challenges and receiving earned in-game currency, which is called Fight Money. If you think that's too long, there's always the choice to use real money.
