Street Fighter 6 Open Beta Starts May 19

Capcom dropped a big surprise and revealed an upcoming open beta for Street Fighter 6, scheduled from May 19 to May 21. It's going to feature the same content from the closed beta conducted in December 2022. This also means that the release version will have adjustments like updated character balance.

Participation Conditions

To join the open beta, you need to meet these conditions:

  • Meet the age requirements for the game based on the game rating system used in your region.
  • Have the appropriate system requirements to participate.
  • Have an account on your desired platform.
  • Register a CAPCOM ID and link a platform.

Demo Version

While waiting for the open beta, you can also try the game through the demo version. Unlike the former, players can only try Luke and Ryu. Playable stages are also limited to the Genbu Temple and Training Room.

Street Fighter 6 is seen as the next evolution of the fighting game series with its combo of unique game innovations, offering three brand new game modes, Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub. The game launches June 2 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-order is now available and players can choose between Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions.
