Quake Steam

ID Software has created a ton of games throughout its existence, many of which are now considered classics. That is why even today, gamers keep returning to them. Playing those games might be a great experience, but trying to purchase them is not. Thankfully, that has now been remedied.

Recent Steam Store Listing changes make buying ID's games a breeze. The listing of both DOOM and Quake franchises was updated recently. Visit our previous article to know more about DOOM changes. Information about Quake changes is mentioned below.

Quake II

Quake II now features the original game and its two mission packs, The Reckoning and Ground Zero . All merged into one install pack with multiple launch options.

Quake III

Quake III Arena now gives players both Arena and Team Arena, all in one package. But separate installations are available.

Quake Collection Bundle

The Quake Collection Bundle is the ultimate bundle for fans, offering them four great games. The collection includes the recently enhanced Quake 1, Quake II, III Arena, Live, and 4. The free-to-play multiplayer title, Quake Champions, is included as well.

Delisted Quake Games

The games mentioned below have been delisted, meaning you can’t purchase them anymore:

  • Quake II Demo
  • Quake III Arena Demo
  • Quake III Team Arena Demo
  • Quake III Team Arena (This will be included with Quake III Arena)
  • Quake II Mission Pack: The Reckoning (This will be added to the Quake II launcher.)
  • Quake II Mission Pack: Ground Zero (This will be added to the Quake II launcher.)

You can check out the Steam post for more information.

Possible Quake Reboot

In other news, Quake fans might have something big coming to them in the future. According to previous rumors, ID Software is developing a reboot of Quake. Even though not officially confirmed, this makes a lot of sense. The developer did a brilliant job with the DOOM reboot and its sequel. ID is a perfect studio to bring Quake back to the modern age.
