Good news for PC players.
Good news for PC players. Perfect World

Star Trek Online is offering PC players a special event. Dubbed as “Equal and Opposite,” Captains who participate can earn the Mirror Universe Gagarin Warship (T6). There are also the Terran Empire Agony Phaser Weapon Packs as well as the space weapon-specific Ultimate Tech Upgrades. The event starts today, September 14, and ends October 14.

To get the Grand Prize, Captains need to get 20 daily progress. To earn daily progress, they need to play any of these:

  • New Task Force Operation: Operation: Wolf
  • Task Force Operation: Counterpoint
  • New Episode: Firewall
  • Episode: Jabberwock

The event remains playable even when the Grand Prize has been claimed. Captains can get Dilithium as a reward instead which starts at 8,000 Dilithium Ore and scales by 1,000 Dilithium Ore for each day participating in the event. The cap is 50,000 Dilithium Ore per day.

It goes without saying that Captains have the choice to buy remaining progress with Zen. The price is prorated, meaning it’s based on the amount of progress completed. Learn about the special event here.

Store Sales

In addition to the special event, Captains get to enjoy the sale by the Ferengi Merchants. Keys are available at a 15% discount from September 14 until September 20. So time to load up on those Keys.

During the same promotional period, a Key Ring Bundle is being sold for 2,250 Zen at the C-store. It has 20x Master Keys which can be used to open any Lock Box. There’s also a single Ultimate Tech Upgrade included.

There’s still one more offer. The Lobi Crystal Consortium is offering all items in the Lobi Store at a 20% discount.

PC Updates

A new update on PC has been released today. The highlight is of course the Equal and Opposite special event. There’s also a new system where Captains can upgrade well beyond their current limits and add new slots similar to the Experimental Ship Upgrades for Ships.
