With the Sims 4: City Living comes one brand new skill, Singing. Make your Sim practice karaoke on one of the two new machines added to Build/buy. Or, buy the microphone and practice without music. Up to you. Either way, that’s a lot of fast forwarding. The other option is to skip this whole process and use a good ‘ole cheat.
How To Use Sims 4 Cheats
To use pretty much any cheat in The Sims 4 , make sure testing cheats is enabled. To do so, press control+shift+c (command on a mac). In the text field, type testingcheats true and you’re all set to enter whatever cheat you need. The new singing skill follows the same code format as other skills in The Sims 4:
stats.set_skill_level Major_Singing 10
You may also want to max out the video game skill. This isn’t a new cheat since other consoles were released in past expansions, but it’s still helpful to unlock the games included on the new consoles faster. When you start out with no video game skills, only two of the many games on the new home consoles are available. To reach all the way to the top, enter the code below. If you don’t want to max out completely, replace the number 10 with something lower when you enter the number.
