Another day, another Returnal leak, am I right folks? A recent leak confirms that the third-person roguelike game by Housemarque is definitely coming to PC.

A one-minute-long footage of the game has found its way online. The clip reveals the PS5-exclusive game running on a PC. How do we know? The user can be seen browsing the graphics options menu that isn’t available on the PS5 version. The keyboard and mouse button prompts are also convincing pieces of evidence.

Graphics Options

The footage reveals that the game supports both DLSS and FSR, meaning AMD users won’t be left in the dust. We saw support for Nvidia Image Scaling (NIS) and VRS as well. Players can set the max FPS to infinity and tweak shadow quality, reflection quality, and lighting quality. Players can also turn on ray-traced shadows and ray-traced reflection. An in-game Benchmark tool is available as well.

Previous Leaks

Returnal coming to PC shouldn’t come as a surprise to you. The port’s existence was leaked multiple times these last few months. A few weeks ago, a screenshot of the game running on a laptop was leaked. Before that, several screenshots of the game’s options menu found their way to the internet. The title was also mentioned in last year’s Nvidia GeForce leak. If those aren’t enough, then the Steam API page should convince you.

Other PC Releases

We know that Returnal is coming to the master race. However, the chances of it dropping this year are astronomically low. The rest of 2022 is already filled with the PC release of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Sony also revealed today that the PC port of Sackboy: A Big Adventure is launching next month. I just don’t see Sony putting four AAA games on PC in three months. The Last of Us Part 1 is also coming to PC, though it doesn’t have a release date yet. So, that game could be a 2023 title.

So, what do you think? Are you interested in playing Returnal on PC? Have you played the game on PS5 yet? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
