For Red Dead Online players who like to wander in search of wild encounters, take some extra care. For this week, it seems that some wild Legendary Bears have been seen roaming the wilds.
The Legendary Owiza Bear, for example, has been spotted wandering somewhere near the Dakota River. Because it prefers to be alone, it usually becomes easily aggravated. This creature prefers to hunt at night and especially under heavy rainfall.
That’s not all as there’s also the Legendary Spirit Bear who has been spotted near Little Creek River. This creature is known for the unique red stripe seen down its back. Unlike the previous bear, the Spirit Bear wants to hunt during the day. It’s just as aggressive though, so be very careful when approaching it.
Those who hunt either of these Legendary Bears and sample or skin them get to receive a Reward for a free hat up to Rank 15.
Like with any previous Legendary creature, you have the choice to bring the Legendary Bear pelts to Gus Macmillan in return for a profit. Doing this unlocks the Owiza and Ridgeback Spirit Garment Sets that can be purchased. Crafting either of these Legendary Coats rewards players with a free Coat of their choice over at Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue.
This week, there’s also a little something for Vitalism Studies. Just head to Harriet’s shop this week and get the Rabbit Vitalism Studies Pamphlet. After that, harvest the Harrietum Officinalis herbs in order to complete the transformation to a wildly fast critter. For this week, players that manage to finish an act of rabbit animal control gets an offer for 50% off an Established or higher Naturalist Role Item.
Still on this week’s offers, players that have the Outlaw Pass receive a free Treasure Map that can help pad their coffers. Players can also enjoy a 40% discount this week on all vests and shirts, as well as the Advanced Camera.
