If you’re travelling anywhere in Red Dead Online, a travel warning appears to be in effect. It’s because this week, there are reports of a white-furred coyote with pale, glowing eyes roaming in and around the cities and even attacking local livestock. This creature is none other than the Milk Coyote. According to residents, it has den nearby and could be travelling with a pack of ferocious scavengers.

In order to launch this Sighting Mission, Naturalists need to look for and speak to Harriet at her shop. Those who manage to complete this mission get an offer for 40% off any Novice or Promising Naturalist item. Being able to sample the creature’s blood, meanwhile, gives you an offer for 40% off any Distinguished Role item.

However, it’s not all Harriet, as there is always the choice to go for lethal force. Players can bring the Milk Coyote’s pelt to Gus MacMillan and he’ll make a beautiful coat for free that you can wear for future hunts.

It’s not all Naturalists this week though, as those who play any modes that are featured in the Hardcore Shootout Series this week receive double the usual cash, Gold, and XP. That’s not all, as any player who join the game this week get a shirt of their choice for free. This is only available for players that are Rank 15 or below.

For The Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue, there’s not much offered this week. There are still new pieces of clothing like the Barrelle and Inkstone Hats and the Farling jacket.

There’s no question that for the past few weeks the Naturalist has been heavily featured. Well, a bit of good news for Bootleggers is here, as they get some discounts this week. For example, players can waive the cost of moving their Moonshine Shacks. There is also the 40% discount on all Novice and Promising Moonshiner items. Moonshiner Bar themes, meanwhile, are offered at three Gold Bars off. Players who plan to be brewers and distributors get five Gold Bars knocked off the cost of the Moonshine Shack. All of these are offered until September 7.

Like with any weekly update, we end with rewards for Prime Gaming. These are given to Red Dead Online players that connect their Rockstar Games Social Club account with a Prime Gaming account. These rewards include:

  • Five free Legendary Animal Pheromones
  • 6,000 Naturalist XP
  • A free Wilderness Camp
  • A Free Katata Coat crafted from the Legendary Katata Elk hide.

Players that connect to Prime Gaming before September 14 get to also receive the Icahi Coat for free. However, they still need to sell the Icahi Boar’s hide to Gus. There are also the five rewards for a free box of Nitro Express Ammunition along with a Reward for 50 rounds of Sedative Varmint Cartridges.
