PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has parterned with Mountain Dew to launch the 2019 Game Fuel League. The Mountain Dew Game Fuel League is a tournament thta hopes to bring together amateur gamers and get them to compete like professional esports stars and win money-can’t-buy prizes.
The tournament is going to be officially launched this Thursday, August 8. Online tournaments are going to take place in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Switzerland. For each qualifier game, amateur players from each of the countries mentioned are going to compete in three rounds of competition. Winners of the qualifiers get the chance to be part of the grand finale as MCM Comic Con and play like a pro.
The final stages of the tournament is going to be exclusively hosted on the Mountain Dew takeover of the HyperX Esports Truck, considered the world’s first mobile esports arena and production studio from Allied Esports. The tournament winner gets crowned the 2019 Mountain Dew Game Fuel League champion. In addition, the champion also receives that grand prize, which is an epic piece of priceless loot for PUBG super fans: a Mountain Dew-branded beach buggy, inspired by the in-game vehicle.

- According to PUBG, players can participate in more than one qualifier in order to get a better score since it is based on their performance throughout their matches.

- The final qualifiers wrap up on September 19 ahead of the final showdown which takes place over the weekend of the October 25-27 at MCM ComicCon.
- First place and Second place winners in the UK qualifiers get to receive a VIP package to MCM Comic Con where they will compete to be the ultimate victors.
- The Mountain Dew Game Fuel League is open to gamers over the age of 16.
PUBG is a player versus player shooter game where up to a hundred players fight in a battle royale to see who is the last one standing. Players can choose to enter the match solo, duo, or with a small team of up to four people.
