A new update from Microsoft for the Xbox Series S and X introduced the latest feature under Quick Resume called "Manage Quick Resume," and it is a function that many fans have long waited for.
Xbox Adds 'Manage Quick Resume' Feature in Consoles
Microsoft announced that it is rolling out new features on the Xbox console in its latest update, with one of the most important being the "Quick Resume" update, which adds a way to manage its settings.
Users may now tweak the settings of Quick Resume, and they may manage the feature by turning it on or off, something that was unavailable for players in the past.
Specifically, players may choose a specific title where they can turn Quick Resume on or off in their consoles.
Previously, all games that support Xbox's Quick Resume feature would automatically have it turned on, and this means that when users suspend it, it gets stuck to where it was left.
Players have encountered many issues with this in the past, particularly as some online games see drastically long reconnecting times and/or errors.
Select the Games You Want on Quick Resume
Players were required to manually close the games via the guide menu to avoid the problems, but the new feature is now offering a solution to this problem.
To turn off or on a Quick Resume feature on a game, players only need to open the "More options" menu on a game tile under the Quick Resume Group and select "Manage Quick Resume."
Alternatively, players may go to a specific game tile and select "Manage game and add-ons" and then "Quick Resume settings."
