'Arc Raiders' Update 1.20.0 Nerfs Il Toro Shotgun and Energy Clips, Adds Rawhide Outfit

Fixing some of the map glitches is game-changing for all players.

"Arc Raiders" encountered several server issues, and some of them were fixed in Patch 1.19.0. However, some glitches were left. The new patch addresses the remaining problems, along with some nerfs in energy clips and the II Toro shotgun.

Fortunately, the update 1.20.0 is now live on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | S. Aside from the key balance changes for the fan-favorite PvP weapon, players should also check some updates regarding its close-range damage, fire rate, and reload times.

Energy Clips Sell Price Reduced

Developers increased base dispersion and falloff damage, making positioning and timing more crucial for players. Embark emphasized that these changes respond to community feedback and will be monitored for future tweaks.

According to IGN, the update 1.20.0 also introduces a significant economic shift: Energy Clips, previously sold for 1000 coins, now only yield 200 coins.

Based on the patch notes, the adjustment addresses an unintentional profit imbalance in crafting, aligning the value of Energy Clips with other resources in the game. Players who relied on farming these clips for high returns will need to explore alternative strategies for currency and crafting materials.

New Cosmetic Options and Bug Fixes

Beyond weapon balancing and economy adjustments, "Arc Raiders" adds the Rawhide outfit and two new haircuts, allowing players to further customize their Raiders.

The update also resolves several in-game issues, including persistent audio from destroyed Comets and Fireballs, collision errors near the Spaceport elevator, and glitches that pushed players through walls.

On to the Flashpoint

Update 1.20.0 comes ahead of the highly anticipated Flashpoint roadmap addition. The upcoming content promises new map conditions, Arc threats, player projects, and the mysterious Scrappy update, heightening the challenge and rewards of exploring topside environments.

We just hope Embark Studios will continue to respond to fan feedback while preparing for this next major update.
