This Saturday, trainers can enjoy the Pokémon GO Community Day for April. This event sees the official debut of Stufful to the game.
As part of the celebration of the Stufful Community Day and the Season of Alola, developer Niantic is holding a sweepstake with a trip for two to Hawaii as the grand prize. The grand prize winner also gets the tropical-themed avatar outfit set. To honor Sustainability Week, Niantic is also providing opportunities for the winners to work with sustainable organizations in Hawaii during their visit.
For those not lucky enough to get the grand prize, 100 players have the chance to win the tropical-themed avatar outfit set.
To join, trainers need to follow the official Twitter account and retweet the sweepstakes tweet.
That's not all that's up for grabs. If there are enough retweets by the start of the Stufful Community Day, the in-game shop is going to have a free box for all Trainers which has rewards based on the retweet milestone achieved:
- 10,000 retweets - Lure Module ×1
- 20,000 retweets - Lucky Egg ×1
- 30,000 retweets - Premium Battle Pass ×1
Community Day
The Community Day is on April 23 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., local time. During this event, Stufful appears more frequently in the wild. Those able to evolve Stufful during the event get a Bewear that has the Charged Attack Drain Punch. This Charged Attack provides Bewear with the needed defensive edge.
For this month's Community Day, the event bonuses are:
- 3× Catch XP
- 2× Catch Candy
- 2× chance to receive Stufful XL Candy from catching Stufful.
- Incense activated during the event lasts for three hours.
- Lure Modules activated during the event last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise.
- 1 extra special trade can be made during the event and two hours after the event (maximum of 2 for the day).

Sustainability Week
Sustainability Week starts tomorrow, April 20, and ends on April 25. It sees the official debut of Oranguru in the game. One of the highlights is happening during Community Day. There will be a Timed Research available for everyone where each phase needs trainers to adventure one kilometer.
For each Trainer who manages to adventure five kilometers during Community Day, developer Niantic will plant a tree for a maximum of 100,000 trees.
