Team GO Rocket is making trouble again.
Help Professor Willow!

Attention Pokémon GO trainers! It's all hands on deck as Professor Willow’s research is running wild and he's asking everyone for help. If you're ready to assist, help him during the Let's GO event from March 21 to March 29.

For this event, the bonuses are:

  • Reduced waiting time for opening the Mystery Box.
  • 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon.
  • Increased chance of finding XXS and XXL Meltan.
  • Increased chance of finding Ditto disguised as other Pokémon.

A Shiny Encounter

For the duration of the event, players get the chance to encounter a Shiny Meltan. The key to making this happen is the Mystery Box. Trainers can obtain the box by sending a Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!

In addition to getting the chance to meet a Shiny Meltan, using the Mystery Box also increases the chance of finding XXS or XXL Meltan during the event. By the way, trainers can open the Mystery Box more frequently for the duration of the event.

Field Research

During the Let's GO event, trainers can look forward to Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour appearing in Field Research; these Pokémon also appear in the wild. Those lucky enough have the chance to encounter Shiny versions.

It's Ditto

In this event, trainers should keep a close watch on Ditto that’s going to transform into a different Pokémon in the wild. Speaking of the wild, the following Pokémon will make appearances:

  • Diglett
  • Grimer
  • Snubbull
  • Corphish
  • Starly
  • Roggenrola
  • Tympole
  • Litleo

So, which one is actually Ditto?

Other Activities

For Let's GO, trainers also have the chance to encounter these Pokémon in the wild:

  • Trubbish
  • Galarian Stunfisk
  • Goomy

Meanwhile, these Pokémon are appearing in five-star raids:

  • Incarnate Forme Thundurus
    • Appears March 21 to March 28
  • Lugia
    • Appears March 28 to April 10

These Pokémon are appearing in Mega Raids:

  • Mega Venusaur
    • Appears March 21 to March 28
  • Mega Alakazam
    • Appears March 28 to April 10

Making Trouble Again

While it's good to help out Professor Willow, it's not going to be an easy task because there's another Team GO Rocket takeover. It runs from March 25 to March 29.

This time, Giovanni’s plan involves using Shadow Regice. A new Special Research story becomes available at the start of this event and those who progress through it can receive a Super Rocket Radar and chase down Giovanni.

It may be difficult but this event also comes with these bonuses:

  • Team GO Rocket appears more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons.
  • Trainers can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.

Pokémon GO is available on Android and iOS.
