It's all systems go for the Pokémon GO Tour: Johto, which is happening on February 26. That's over a week away which means there's still time to prepare for the big day like having enough Poké Balls. Not to worry since all trainers are invited to join the GO Tour Poké Ball Prep Rally. It starts on February 18 and runs until February 25.

One of the things to look forward to is that trainers who complete research tasks will earn Poké Balls. There's also the bonus which lets your Buddies gift you with Poké Balls. Hopefully, this should be enough to get a good supply of Poké Balls.

This event also sees the official debut of Hisuian Electrode to the game. To get this Pokémon, trainers first need to get Hisuian Voltorb. Once they have that, it can be evolved into Hisuian Electrode by using 50 Voltorb Candy.

This event also has these Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild:

  • Voltorb
  • Hisuian Voltorb
  • Koffing
  • Marill
  • Wailmer
  • Solosis
  • Foongus

Meanwhile, those lucky enough could encounter:

  • Jigglypuff
  • Electrode
  • Amoonguss
  • Galarian Stunfisk

Finally, there is the new Avatar Item which is the Ball Guy Costume Heading to Pokémon GO. With this, trainers can dress up as iconic and mysterious characters known to appear at the Galar Pokémon League. This outfit is available in the shop at the start of the event.
