Phasmophobia: Anniversary Update Introduces Journal Overhaul and Offline Single-Player Mode

Phasmophobia Steam

Developer Kinetic Games has released an update that celebrates the first anniversary of Phasmophobia. This update overhauls the journal. It now provides detailed information about the various aspects of the game. In addition, the lobby has been filled with confetti and balloons so that you can really feel that festive vibe appropriate for the occasion.

The journal is now so much easier to navigate thanks to the four new tabs at the top-left corner. In the Ghosts tab, you can find more information about different ghost types. Looking at Mare, for example, lets you know that this ghost can make its target hallucinate and that looking at the hallucinations can cause the target’s sanity to drop faster.

Those who have been playing one of Steam's most high-rated horror games will be thrilled to know that you can now enjoy Phasmophobia offline, thanks to the new single-player mode. This is great because you no longer have to connect to a server to hunt ghosts; useful if you are having connection problems.

The update also includes a fix for the memory leak issue on the main menu when using a controller, a controller vibration when toggling VR mute on or off, and so much more.
