Overwatch’s Arcade Brawl is the most fun thing that’s ever happened to the game. For the next week, fans will be playing the one Brawl that actually matters. Arcade mode has no limits on heroes, gives every hero 200 percent health, 150 percent Ultimate Charge Rate and 75 percent ability cooldowns. That means your Junkrat tires come up faster, Pharrah Rocket Barrages rain down more often and Zenyatta never dies.

Arcade is a different way to play Overwatch . Usually you have to care about wasting your abilities or keeping track of where your hero is, but not in Arcade. Even Symmetra is beefy in this mode. Matches are only Escort and Hybrid which means they last for a really long time. I played one Arcade game today that lasted over an hour. It plays a lot like URF, League of Legends’ fun mode where the cooldowns don’t matter and explosions are everywhere.

If you are having trouble winning your Arcade games, here are some tips to help you take the victory.

  • You can’t switch heroes once you are in the game, so pick who you want to play for potentially over an hour.

  • On attack, you want to find out who your opponent is playing as soon as possible. Go as close to the starting gate as possible and see what your enemy has picked. Before the game starts you can still switch heroes, so don’t get stuck with a counter you can easily switch.

  • Mei and Hanzo are two of the best heroes you can pick on Defense. Their powerful ultimates come up much faster in this mode, so don’t be afraid to spam them whenever you can.

  • If a hero is good in regular Overwatch , chances are they are a good pick here too. Zarya and Winston are great tanks, Lucio is an OP support and anyone who does AOE damage will be of great use. Check out our full tier list to see all the rankings.
