CD Projekt Red seems to be working on a new game, and this has been revealed thanks to a recent job listing that the company posted as it looks for new employees to join them in its development.
There is still no specific information about what the game is, with its title still kept under wraps by the Polish game development studio, but reports have pieced together what to expect from this title.
CD Projekt Red Leaks New Game In Job Listing
CD Projekt Red has posted a new job opening on its website for a Senior Gameplay Designer, and this has led to speculations that a new game is in development.
GameRant and other publications picked up on this latest job listing, with many claiming that it essentially leaked several details about the next game from the company, which still remains unconfirmed.
The job listing is looking for new team members to join CD Projekt Red in their development of a game under the codename "Project Hadar," which the company explicitly mentioned. The company said that this is a "completely new IP" which would focus on the "next journey" of its game development that would be different from their existing ones. '
What Does CDPR Look for In Its Next Team Member?
CD Projekt Red said that Project Hadar is still in its early development days, with the company building a team to work on this title from the ground up.
The company is also looking for someone who has experience in developing "RPG/Action titles with melee-oriented combat." This may be referring to the genre that Project Hadar would adopt, which is something similar to what "The Witcher" franchise brought to the table.
There were no other details mentioned by CD Projekt Red that gave information or hints on what Project Hadar would be apart from it being developed using Unreal Engine 5.
It is important to note that CD Projekt Red's latest confirmed game, "The Witcher 4," already shifted to using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5 as opposed to "The Witcher 3's" RED Engine, which CDPR developed.
"Cyberpunk 2077," a famed CD Projekt Red game, focused on a first-person shooter (FPS) combat, which would already make it the less likely candidate of what Project Hadar would be.
