Jenny “XJ-9” Wakeman, the protagonist of My Life as a Teenage Robot, has finally joined Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl in the latest update as a DLC character. This patch also contains balancing changes.

Another One Joins the Fight

Jenny Wakeman is a potent character with a kit that allows her to pressure foes in many ways and across distances. Her Blazing Blades (Light Up) not only launches the enemy high up in the air but also hits multiple times for some really good damage as a starting attack.

Her Angry Stomp (Light Down) is where she stomps the ground while moving forward with every press of the button. Pressing the button repeatedly will keep her going.

Another one of her attacks worth noting is her Mighty Mallets (Strong Down). When the button is pressed, she goes into a tantrum, mashing her hammer down in the process. Just like the Angry Stomp, this move can be used repeatedly by pressing the button over and over again.

April Got Nerfed

The latest update for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl implements some balancing changes as well. April O’Neil has been one of the best characters in the game. That’s why it is unsurprising that she got nerfed in this patch.

Her three-hit Down Strong attack (Pose Pose Pose!) has its damage reduced from a consistent 15% on all hits to just 9%/10%/12%. April’s Mid Special, Breaking News!, got its damage capped to 30%, and its super armor buff removed as well.
