The Mana Storm expansion for deck building digital card game Mystic Vale is officially live on the PC via Steam. The expansion is also available on iOS and Android. Mana Storm offers 48 new Advancement Cards, 18 Vale Cards, eight Leaders, and new features.
The Mana Storm expansion introduces amulets for the first time. This all-new mechanic replaces a player’s mana token with a unique amulet. Each amulet comes with special abilities that have different effects on players that help accomplish the objectives of the Mystic Vale.
Originally an award-winning traditional card game, Mystic Vale was also developed as a digital edition that is faithfully accurate to the physical version. With regards to developing the expansion, Don Whiteford of Nomad Games MD shared in a statement that the developers were “excited to bring another expansion to the digital version of Mystic Vale. The base game was already an excellent introduction to the deck building genre and is a visually stunning game to play.” He added that he hopes existing fans also enjoy what Mana Storm can offer to the game.
With a unique Card Crafting System, players of Mystic Vale can choose to play against the AI or participate in two- to four-player online matches. Players take on the role of druidic clans tasked with cleansing the Valley of Life of the curse placed upon it. Each turn, you play cards into your field to gain powerful advancements and useful Vale cards. Use your power wisely, or decay will end your turn prematurely. Score the most victory points to win the game.

Mana Storm is now available on Steam for $4.99 and iOS/Android for $1.99. Players on Steam can opt for the Season Pass, which includes the following expansions for Mystic Vale: Vale of Magic, Vale of the Wild and Mana Storm. Players can also purchase Mana Storm and other expansions separately.
