Fans of My Singing Monsters have something to look forward to in the next few months. In particular, a new party game set in the same universe is launching on November 9. My Singing Monsters Playground will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

In the game, players control a Monster and take part in a tournament full of Monster-game madness. It takes place in various locations that fans of the original My Singing Monsters can immediately recognize. Players have the chance to explore different islands, but this time, all of them are in 3D.

Here’s what My Singing Monsters Playground players can expect:

  • Control one of the seven playable Monsters:
    • Mammott
    • Furcorn
    • Pom Pom
    • Entbrat
    • Pango
    • Congle
    • Kayna
  • Get to unlock costumes:
    • In addition to the default look, each Monster has three unlockable costumes.
  • Game modes:
    • Players can go at it solo or play with friends through three different game modes:
      • Party Tournament
      • Single Player Gauntlet
      • Free Play

My Singing Monsters Playground is priced at $39.99 and is available digitally on PC and consoles. A physical edition is being planned for the Switch. The game has an ESRB rating of E, which means it is for everyone.

As mentioned, the game is in the same universe as My Singing Monsters. Unlike this upcoming game, My Singing Monsters is a mobile game available on Google Play and the App Store. This free-to-play game is family-friendly and has players explore intriguing worlds while breeding and feeding Monsters to come up with unique melodies.

Released in 2012, the game has since received critical acclaim. It has also expanded to become a multimedia franchise including a prequel titled My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire. There are also spin-off games released like My Mammott, My PomPom, and Thumpies. Don’t expect to find them easily since most have been discontinued. There are even books, live events, and a board game released.

Both My Singing Monsters and My Singing Monsters Playground are developed by Big Boy Bubble.
