The Nintendo Switch Lite system is releasing a Pokémon Dialga & Palkia Edition. This version commemorates the launch of the upcoming Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl titles. It’s coming out on November 5.

This is going to be the first Lite system with a metallic gray body and paired with black buttons. Its back features line art of the Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia with a silver-colored and gold-colored finish. This special edition is priced at $199.99.

The Switch Lite is a lightweight and compact system that’s dedicated to handheld play. It has a built-in +Control Pad that’s combined with a unibody design. This system is compatible with the library of Switch games that support handheld mode.

Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are a remake of the 2006 titles Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl. The original story as well as the game features are still there but this one has been revitalized for Switch.

In the game, players go back to the Sinnoh region where they meet Professor Rowan, explore the Grand Underground, and fight against Team Galactic. It also allows players to meet other Trainers from around the world through the Union Room.

The game brings back the Pokémon Super Contests but is now presented as Super Contest Shows. This is where Trainers and their Pokémon show off their performance skills. It’s divided into five categories: Coolness, Cuteness, Beauty, Toughness, and Cleverness. Each category has several ranks: Normal, Great, Ultra, and Master Rank.

There is also the Capsule Decoration where players have the chance to personalize their gameplay experience. There are Stickers. for example. which can be used to customize the effects of the Ball Capsules.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are releasing on November 9. Pre-orders for the game are already accepted. Retail and digital versions are available for each game as well as for the Double Pack. There are bonuses for pre-orders which are:
