Marvel's Avengers is releasing two days from now, and it's also coming with an in-game store to spend your real cash on. The game's already out for fans who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition. Being a modern AAA title, Marvel's Avengers has also chosen to incorporate an in-game store where you can trade your real money for in-game cosmetic items.

The in-game store in Marvel's Avengers will offer players with credits in exchange for money. Players will then have to use the credits to purchase items from the store. According to a listing on the PlayStation Store, Marvel's Avengers will have four different credit packs:

  • 500 Credits – $5.
  • 2,000 Credits (plus 200 bonus) – $20.
  • 5,000 Credits (plus 1,000 bonus) – $50.
  • 10,000 Credits (plus 3,000 bonus) – $100.

Players can buy credits and spend them on in-game items like character skins, finishing animations, nameplates, and emotes. Each of the aforementioned items will have varying rarities. A rare emote can cost as low as 250 credits. Character outfits start from 700 credits for rare, and legendary outfits can cost 1,400 credits.

You can also earn credits by leveling up Hero cards for each of the six launch characters. Each card can net you 1,300 credits. Leveling up each Hero in the game can take numerous hours and will also require players to main a single Hero for a long time. All six launch Heroes have unlocked Hero cards, however, post-launch Heroes like Hawkeye will require 1,000 credits to unlock the premium track.

Hero cards are basically individual battle passes for each hero. The cards have two tracks – a free track and a premium track. The premium track can be unlocked for 1,000 credits, or $10.

Marvel's Avengers is releasing on September 4 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia. The game will also launch on next-gen consoles later.
