Pre-orders for Marvel's Avengers' special edition have already begun and Crystal Dynamics has revealed that Kate Bishop will be joining the roster in the future. Kate Bishop's story in Marvel's Avengers will be in line with the comic books, with Kate being trained by Clint Barton, the original Hawkeye.

In Marvel's Avengers, Kate is associated with SHIELD and her story involves tracking down Clint. In the reveal trailer, Kate finds Clint, but the latter now seems to be working with AIM. Don't be distraught by thinking that Clint will continue working for AIM throughout the game as an NPC. Crystal Dynamics has previously confirmed that Hawkeye will be the game's first post-launch hero.

Kate's campaign is divided into two parts and it will seemingly connect with Clint's story. Crystal Dynamics refers to these short campaigns as Operations, which will be added to the game for free. Kate's campaign, titled Taking AIM, will introduce fans to a new location, hero, and villain.

Kate Bishop was already on the list of leaked DLC heroes for Marvel's Avengers, but it's nice to see the official reveal. Kate will be voiced by the talented actor Ashly Burch and the hero is also said to have different move sets from that of Clint. I am extremely excited to see how Kate will play differently from Clint. In the trailer, Kate can be seen using a cool teleportation ability, which should allow for a fun traversing of the environment and combat.

Kate Bishop and Clint Barton will also be involved with the launch of the first two Operations in Marvel's Avengers. Unlike the PlayStation exclusive Spider-Man, the two Hawkeyes will be available for everyone. Kate and Clint's relationship in the comic books is quite interesting and fans are sure to be excited to explore their relationship in the game.

Marvel's Avengers will be available on September 4 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia. The game will also launch on the PS5 and Xbox Series X later.
