Dead Island 2 Delayed Deep Silver

March was a good year for gamers as they saw the release of several high-profile games, including the much-anticipated Resident Evil 4 Remake. But believe us when we tell you, April is even better. The gaming industry always has something great to offer every month.

Fans can expect long-forgotten sequels to proper expansions of already-released games. We have mentioned four upcoming titles you should keep an eye out for.

Minecraft Legends – April 18

The next game by Mojang Studios is less than two weeks away. Minecraft Legends is an action-strategy game launching on all major platforms including Switch on April 18. What’s interesting is that the game is owned by Microsoft, and it’s still arriving on PlayStation. Nevertheless, players shouldn’t expect every Microsoft game to come to Sony’s console.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC – April 19

Just like the first game, Horizon Forbidden West is also getting a story expansion. Burning Shores takes Aloy to new lands but unlike the base game, the story DLC will only be available on PlayStation 5. The developer claimed that the expansion features grand-scale battles that won’t have been possible on PS4.

Dead Island 2 – April 21

It’s a really good time to be a Dead Island fan as the ever-long-in-development sequel is almost here. Initially revealed in 2014, the open-world zombie game, unfortunately, went into development hell. Well, after almost a decade, the development is complete and the game is ready to be played by fans. Dead Island 2 will launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on April 21.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – April 28

Once you are done with Dead Island 2, there’s another major title just around the corner. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming with the Force on April 28 to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Survivor is a sequel to Fallen Order, which was released back in 2019 and is considered the best Star Wars game of the last decade. Previews suggest that the sequel is bigger and better, and we are all for it.

So, what do you think? Are you excited about any of these games? Which specific title are you looking forward to the most? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
