If you're a fan of the Jurassic Park franchise, then you're in luck. The Lego Jurassic World game is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch this September 17. The game follows the storyline of the four Jurassic films - Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III, and Jurassic World.

As mentioned, the game follows the storylines of the four films. However, the developers made some changes to the storylines in order to ensure that the five levels of the game correspond to a film. Some of the notable scenes of each films have been recreated to be part of the game. When it came to characters' death, the game does not show the gory details, but instead replaces them with humor. This is not at all surprising since the game is aimed at children. The Switch version is rated E 10+ citing Cartoon Violence and Crude Humor.

Lego Jurassic World was first released back in 2015 to the PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. It has even seen a release for both iOS and Android.

Lego Jurassic World has players solve puzzles across 20 levels, with five levels dedicated to each one of the Jurassic films. Different features can be accessed from the free-roaming overworld area and make use of a two-player cooperation mode. Lego Jurassic World features at least 20 dinosaur species with more than 100 unlockable characters available to play as. You even get to meet Mr. DNA, the same character featured in the original film. Mr. DNA is an unlockable character and gives players hints and dinosaur trivia. Human characters that can be played include Ian Malcolm and Dr. Alan Grant, among many others. In addition, each character has a special ability and players need to make good use of them in order to progress in the game.

The Nintendo Switch version includes:

  • Getting to wreak havoc as Lego dinosaurs
    • Players choose from 20 dinosaurs, which includes the Triceratops, Raptor, and even the T. rex.
  • Customize your own dinosaur collection
    • Collect Lego amber and then experiment with DNA in order to create completely original dinosaurs.
  • Explore Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna
    • Place your newly created dinosaur in to paddocks while complete Free Play missions.

Lego Jurassic World is available for $39.99 and will be released on September 17.
