World of Tanks is more than ready to launch Season 2 of its Battle Pass tomorrow, June 11. This one is offering new Bounty Equipment, Core Vehicles, and even fresh 3D Styles. There’s also more time to enjoy the rewards since the season ends on September 7.

First let’s discuss how this one works. The core gameplay mechanics of the Battle Pass remain the same as those of Season 1. Commanders who continue to fight in Random Battles using Tier VI-X vehicles get the chance to earn Progression Points in order to move onward in the Stages. The amount of points received is based on the position earned in the team’s post-battle ranking by XP earned. This means that if your team loses, you still receive Progression Points. These are the points you can earn:

  • Position in Team Post-Battle Ranking by XP Earned: Top 3
    • Win a Battle
      • Tier VI-X vehicles: 7 Points
      • M48A5 Patton: 10 Points
      • TVP T 50/51: 8 Points
    • Lose a battle/Draw
      • Tier VI-X vehicles: 5 Points
      • M48A5 Patton: 8 Points
      • TVP T 50/51: 6 Points
  • Position in Team Post-Battle Ranking by XP Earned: Top 10
    • Win a Battle
      • Tier VI-X vehicles: 5 Points
      • M48A5 Patton: 5 Points
      • TVP T 50/51: 6 Points
    • Lose a battle/Draw
      • Tier VI-X vehicles: 3 Points
      • M48A5 Patton: 3 Points
      • TVP T 50/51: 4 Points

In general, the progression system of the Battle Pass offers Main and Elite stages. Main has 45 stages while Elite has 100. In order to move to the next stage, players need to get at least 50 points. For each Stage completed, players receive valuable in-game rewards.

As already mentioned, there are new Core Vehicles and for this new season, these are the M48A Patton and the TVP T 50/51. It’s important to know that each tank has a Point Limit and the higher the tier of the tank, the higher the Limit. While it’s still possible to play in the vehicle even if the Limit is reached, no Progression Points are going to be earned. This means that those who want to continue earning Progression Points will need to play in a different tank.

Of course, we also take a look at what rewards are at stake in Season 2. The most valuable of these are:

  • Two brand-new types of Bounty Equipment
    • Bounty Optics
    • Bounty Stabilizer
  • Two 3D Styles
    • “Pipeline” 3D Style for the M48A5 Patton
    • “Storm” 3D Style for the T 50/51.

There’s also going to be rewards at the end of the season, which are:

  • The tank team that wins the vote receive a one-week special x2 XP repeatable mission for all Tier IV-X in the Garage.
  • The runner-up gets a one-week special x2 Crew XP repeatable mission for all Tier IV-X vehicles in the Garage.
