League of Legends is introducing a new event for its players with the Mid-Season Trials 2019. This event started May 2 and ends June 2 at 2:59 a.m. EDT.
To be part of this event, players need to choose one of four different houses between the Council, Faceless, United, and Warband. Much like the houses of the Harry Potter franchise, each one offers a specific mentality heading into every match. The Council, for example, makes use of a calculated play style, while Faceless goes more for unpredictability. United have players with a more hopeful attitude, and the Warband go for ruthless gameplay.

Once players finish choosing a house, they get to earn points through gameplay missions as well as MSI watch rewards. Each week, players get an update on how each house fares and points are given to members of the winning house. The points awarded each week are increased, giving each house the ability to make a come back. The missions begin May 8 at 4:00 p.m. EDT.
Once the event ends, each player that is a member of the winning house is awarded a golden house emote along with an in-game finisher animation, as well as an icon.
The Trial Pass is available for 1,650 Riot Points and not only includes the Trials 2019 Pass Icon, but also 4 MSI 2019 Orbs and 200 Trials Tokens.
